This is one of the best sets of cookware that you can get. It heats evenly, is heavy, and cleans-up so easily. We cannot recommend it highly enough. If you are using a glass top stove just do not over heat the pans. They do not take the place of cast iron.

These pots and pans are great! I have never had good pans, so I dont have a lot to compare them to. The Non-Stick is great, super easy to clean, and the silicone handles are very nice. You can only put them in the oven if its under 350'F, which is kinda a bummer. But other than that they have been excellent. Water even boils in a nice even spin!

I bought this cookware set to replace an older Calphalon set. I figured since it was similarly priced it would be similar quality to Calphalon. Not so!
CONS:
- The handles on both the pans and the lids have too much metal on them and get too hot to pick up without a pot holder.
- The bolts that hold the handles onto the pans are not flush with the inside of the pan so food gets stuck around them and is not easy to clean. I have to dig out the cooked-on food with my fingernails. ICK!
- The handle on the small saucepan is heavier than the body of the pan, so the pan tips over.
- The handle on the large saucepan is not strong enough for the weight of the pan and will bend if you pick it up by the handle. You have to use both the long handle and the small handle on the opposite side of the pan to pick it up. (This means TWO potholders too because both handles will be hot!)
PRO:
- The cookware surfaces are great and food cooks perfectly in these pans.
SUMMARY:
These are not as good as Calphalon and I would not buy them again due to their several irritating design flaws.

What a beautiful set of cookware. I bought them for my new apartment which I will be moving into next week. I haven't used them just yet but the sturdiness and weight of these pots were just what I'm looking for. If I don't do nothing but boil an egg, it's fine with me. Because I haven't cooked in so long, living in NYC, I think my first dish will be Hamburger Helper (LOL)! Thank You Amazon and KitchenAid for the opportunity!!!

Bought this set for a second home and was very pleased at the quality of the set, at a very good price. Would recommend especially to those on a budget who still want a high quality set of pots and pans. Look forward to using these a good long time!!
