I purchased this pot from Macy's and I have been using it ever since. It works great at medium setting for cooking. I am glad to say that I did not have any problems like the other reviewer had as far as heat conduction and stuff. In fact, it worked perfectly with just medium heat (between 5-7) on my gas stove. It even worked perfect in making popcorn. Clean up was also a breeze. I soaked it in warm water and soap (after cooling it off) and used a sponge and I had it cleaned in no time. The manufacturer does recommend washing the pot when it's cool and not to pour cold water into a hot pot. Overall, I am satisfied and impressed as this pot worked 10x better than the Cuisinart 5.5 casserole I bought from Amazon.

Received this pot as a gift. It conducts heat terribly and everything sticks to it, even when well-oiled. Whenever I use this pot to heat up water for pasta, the water never boils on it own, even after 45 minutes covered and at the highest heat setting (I have to add hot water from my electric kettle). Whenever I make soups/stews, the smell sticks to the pot and I have to wash it 2-3 times.
