I have had the pots and pans for about 3 weeks. Todate I am very pleased. They are attractive and extrememly functional and easy to clean. I follow the instructions that came with the pans. They heat quickly and evenly. I have had to learn to cook at a lower temperature because of the even heating. They were necessary because I recently purchased a glass topped stove and needed pans with flat bottoms. I researched the subject and chose Cuisart. Good choice!

I was a little scared buying stainless steel pots and pans. I'm so use to non stick. Turns out, there was nothing to be afraid of. This set cooks beautifully and evenly. The only change I made, was not to cook everything on high. (learning how to cook properly) My cooking is a lot better because of them. Then I thought washing them would be hard. Well, I was wrong again. I just wash them right after using and they are easy. Of course I'm not burning food by not cooking on high may be helpful in that area as well. They still look brand new. The only thing is one pot, I put water and salt in then started heating up. The salt that was on the bottom left little marks for a while, but they are gone now. So now, I heat the water first, then put the salt in. So, the trick is, low to medium cooking and wash when done.
Again, I believe one of my best purchases and I will be buying other pans of this brand.
The only negative was when I received my package, there were 2 lids of the same size and missing a larger lid. I called Amazon and they had me a new set at my house the very next day and I return the original at their cost. The customer service was excellent. Sometimes things just happen and you want it to be easy to take care. This was extremely easy.

We recently got this cookware set as a wedding gift and we really enjoy cooking with these pots and pans. We were a bit skeptical when in the instructions the makers strongly suggested never using the high setting on the stove with these pots and pans, but using the medium-high setting is enough to bring water to a boil very quickly.
The overall construction is excellent, well crafted without being too heavy. The handles don't get hot, except for the lid handles - they can get a bit warm at times. They are definitely not "non-stick" but I have yet to find a set of stainless steel cookware that is. A cleaning tip: baking soda, warm water, and a plastic scouring pad will get most stains or discolorations taken care of quickly.

As someone who loves to cook and has been doing it a long time, I am very happy with this set. I have passed up a lot of cookware sets due to pricing, quality or both. I have always been happy with my Cuisinart purchases and decided to take a chance on this set. It's heavy enough to be durable, yet not so heavy as to be hard to handle. It conducts heat nicely and cleans up well, and the pots and pans are perfectly sized. The only thing I would change is the handles - I would either make them wider or larger hollow round handles as to lessen the likelihood of slippage. This is somewhat mitigated by second handles on the larger pots and pans. For the price, this is by far the best set I've seen in a very long time.
