I own a very large frying pan from Cuisinart. I use it very often. I bought this set because it SAID it was the same series of pans.



I cannot believe it. The smallest saute / frying pan scorched with its first use. The smallest saucepan stained with ITS first use.



I returned these pans because they are vastly inferior to what I expected.



I am so disappointed that I might not bother looking at more Cuisinart pans to fill my needs in the future.

I really did some research on cookware before buying this set in April 2010. Like many folks, we were on a budget and I was trying to save some money. I had been cooking with a set of Calphalon that I liked a great deal, but the coating was wearing off. So, I went with this set because of the price and it didn't have a lot of sizes and rave reviews!. I couldn't be MORE disappointed. The stockpot pitted the 1st time I used it. The skillet has a permanent burn on the side. Obvioulsy it is not non-stick, but rather everything sticks. I hate them, and that is strong for me. I have worked in restaurants and love to cook. I am now replacing the "new" cuisanart with All-Clad.

Pan worked very well (received as wedding present) and performed flawlessly for well over a year. Recently discovered that the handle on this pan started getting hot when in use. As I type with blisters beginning to form on the palm of my left hand, I am planning on taking this pan out to the trash as soon as it cools enough to not melt my trash can. I have cooked eggs, potstickers, sausage, bacon, vegetables, onions, shallots, stir-fry, lamb, and chicken in this pan and the handle stayed comfortably cool each and every time until recently. It has never been abused, always carefully handwashed promptly after each use. You expect a hot handle with, say, a cast-iron skillet. This is a safety hazard.

These frying pans look great - but watch out - be sure to use a pot holder when using them! The handles become extremely hot and can not be touched when the pan is in use. I would not recommend these pans to even an expert chef.

I love how cute this pot is. It is the perfect size for 2 people. It is non0stick, etc. The problem is that when we use it, it smells and the food cooked in it smells and tastes weird, like hose water. We have tried it a few times, washed it with baking soda, regular dish soap, etc., same thing. It only happens with this pot, none of our other ones. I am going to return mine to Macy's. I would not recommend this product.

This is a great set for the money. I bought mine at Macy's on sale the day after Christmass for $59.00. The only thing I can complain about are the fry-pans. They are tappered and shallow; look like small woks. Beside that I like them very mutch. They heat evenly and clean-up nicely. Even at the $129.00 retail price you can't go wrong. Great starter set that should last a long time.

I only write reviews when something is terrible or fantastic. In this case the pan is terrible. The handle heats up as hot as the skillet. Something designed so poorly should be discontinued. I am surprised more reviews don't mention this. Just burnt my hand and now that it is feeling better I am warning everyone I can. $12 at Macy's, looks pretty - waste of money, unless you like to burn yourself. Should be 0 stars.

I've had a few non-stick frying pans in my day - some expensive, some cheap. None have had such dangerous handles as these! Even if you have the heat on low or medium - if it's longer than a few minutes, the metal handles get super hot. I don't really understand why there is silicon pads on the undersides of the handles. You need to touch the tops of the handles to pick up the pans....the nonstick is great, but use a potholder!

I was actually going to buy the Calphalon 12-inch but didn't want to return this one since it was a gift my sweet hubby was thoughtful enough to get for me.



I have had this for a month and have fried eggs, burgers, pan-cakes, chicken and all have been easy to remove from the pan. Nothing sticks & it's easy to clean which is what I really like about it.



That said, I do notice that I have to use a higher heat setting for all my cooking with this pan. With my Cuisinart pans, I have gotten used to using lower settings to cook everything.



One thing to be careful of it when you grip the handle is to make sure your fingers stay on the cool-touch rubber grip under the handle.

I first purchased the 6 Quart Chefs pan a year ago. At that time I was looking for a sturdy Wok that I could stir fry my vegetables in. Used it for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at its performance! I had done some online research regarding what cookware was best and decided upon Belgique. This pan does not stick !!! Go figure ?? Everything slides literally out of these pans! I've owned (3) other sets of cookware over the years and NONE have performed as well as this line of cookware. If you cook daily, you know how important it is to have reliable and quality cookware. Do yourself a favor and get this cookware fast! You wont regret it !

Purchased this set at Macys B&M sale for $19.99 total. Pans heat evenly and quickly, comfortable handles. Remember to use only low-med. heat, and to hand wash. Clean up is a breeze. Recommended.



Update: Nearly a year later and these pans are used daily and still like new. Barkeepers friend helps get rid of any stains on the exterior. Really good purchase and these are sometimes on sale for $25 or $30/ set. Also, I do not use a higher heat setting w/these pans as another review states. I have All Clad and Cuisinart Multiclad (best of the line) and these 2 inexpensive anodized fry pans require absolutely no more heat than my other, top of the line stuff. Go for it, they'll serve you well.
